There are so many ways to style a linen top to change up your look a bit. Really, the possibilities are endless! Linen tops can be worn all year round and are a perfect clothing item to have in your closet.
This is probably my favourite way to style a linen shirt. What you want to do is button up the top as you normally would, however leave the 2 or 3 bottom buttons undone. Take either side of the material left and tie it into a knot. What I love about this idea is that you can tie it up to any length you want and make the shirt into a mid drift.
The bare shoulder
To create this look, you want to leave the top 2 or 3 buttons of the shirt undone. Pull one end of the shirt so it sits off the shoulder. It’s that simple! If you want to add a bit more sophistication, you can tuck parts of the shirt into your jeans or skirt.
The simple v-neck
This is a really simple and easy way to style a linen shirt. Button the shirt as you normally would leaving the top 2 buttons undone. The v-neck created is perfect to put necklaces on top of. Personally, I think layering multiple pieces of necklaces creates more sophistication and makes you look a million bucks!
This method of styling a linen shirt ads a bit more shape and dimension to your outfit. To create it, button the shirt as per usual and tuck one side of the shirt into your jeans, skirt, etc.
The simple tuck
My final way to style a linen shirt is to simply tuck it in! What I love about tucking in your shirt is that it looks great no matter how you wear it. It also gives you some freedom to create a v-neck or an off-the shoulder look. Instead of tucking in your whole shirt, you can also just tuck in parts of it to add dimension and shape to your outfit.
