It has taken a lot of time and thinking for me to write this post. Looking back on the beach holidays I have been on, I sure wish that I knew to pack these things along. All the sunburns and dry skin, would be non existent. Here are the 5 things you must pack for a beach holiday!
I know it may seem a no brainer to bring sunblock on a beach trip, but some people think that when wearing it you do not get a tan. Trust me, that is not true. You can get a great tan whilst wearing sunblock! to all my Aussie babes out there, we all know how hot it gets in Australia so remember to slip, slop, slap! Always check the product ingredients; zinc oxide and titanium oxide are the best protection of your delicate skin.
It is so important to pack moisturiser. When out in the sun your skin can easily peel and get dry. Using moisturiser ensures your skin is glowing and hydrated. I tend to pack a big bottle of moisturiser as I use so much of it when I am away.
3. Lint Roller
I know it may seem weird to include a lint roller in this post, but trust me you will want one ASAP! Nothing drives me more insane than sand in my bed! I really don't like it. So recently I have been using sticky lint removers to get rid of this problem. I just roll it on top of my bed sheets and the sand is gone! It is so quick and easy to do yet makes a huge impact!
4. One Piece Swimsuit
Some people prefer a bikini over a one piece, and that's totally fine. Although, I think it's best to pack a one piece for backup. Some beaches can be really rough, and in that case, I prefer to wear a one piece to avoid any bottoms being washed out and away in the surf! Don't get me wrong I love a good bikini too. I think they're great for tanning and you can mix and match them easily.
5. Beach Bag & Zip Lock bags
I love a good beach bag and they come in really handy on these types of holidays. I use it to pop all my beach essentials in; hat, phone, sunnies, sunblock, snacks, water & a towel. What I love about it is that it's great for storing your phone away out of the sun and your towel out of the sand. It also carries everything that you need for the day! A small zip lock is great to pop your mobile phone and keys in, ensuring they aren't damaged by sand.
