If you are like me and get bored very easily on a plane… you might want to read this post. Here’s a list on things I keep in my carry on to avoid boredom and stay refreshed throughout a flight. P.s it's just in time for your June/July holiday break ❤️
Moisturiser is something you must pack in your carry on, especially on a long flight. Aeroplane’s air conditioners can make your skin dry so make sure you pack a little moisturiser to keep your skin looking refreshed, hydrated and healthy.
Nothing beats your own headphones…. Except for your own pillow! I love packing my own headphones so I can listen to music whilst on the plane and have some time for myself. Plane rides can be long and boring, but they are a great place to reflect and relax after a long time of work. Headphones are also great to pack along to block the dreadful sound of babies crying onboard.
3. A good book
You can’t go wrong with a good book! Sometimes you can kill hours reading through a good book. It’s a great way to relax and enjoy your time is a quite place.
I always make sure to pack along a diary with me on my carry on. It’s small things like these little recounts that we enjoy reading after our trips. Diaries are great to have where ever you go, as it is the great memories that count and want to be remembered.
5. Portable charger
Nothing is worse than your phone dying 3 hours into a 14 hour flight, right? to avoid this anger and frustration, pack along a portable charger, you won’t be sorry!
6. Mini toothbrush & toothpaste
On a long haul flight, packing a toothbrush and toothpaste is a must have. You’ll need them to freshen up! A lot of shops sell mini teeth cleaning kits just for travel so you’ll find them in no time.
7. Warm socks
Wearing warm socks on a plane is how I stay comfortable and warm throughout the flight. Even if you don’t think you’ll need them, pack them along just in case, they don’t take up much space in your carry on either.
8. Change of clothes
Packing a change of clothes for a long haul flight has to be my number one tip. You never know who is going to spill their apple juice all over you on the flight or when the turbulence becomes way too much. It's always good to have a backup just in case! Also, place your spare clothes in a zip lock bag so you can pull them out easily and seal your dirty clothes away.
Although I have mentioned some ways to keep yourself entertained throughout a flight, remember you’ll be sleeping most the time as well as watching on board entertainment!
